Brazos River Authority

Texas Governor Rick Perry once described this building as “a monument to water”. The Brazos River Authority encompasses just under 40,000 square feet of offices, laboratory, boardroom, conference and support space. Its massive, vertical, buttressed stone walls evoke the sense of a reservoir dam while arched canopies offer a horizontal banding over expansive glazing along the southern wing. Exterior blends to interior where pyramidal shaped stone columns with timber-framed capitals adorn the stained concrete floor of the entry hall. A state of the art boardroom features modern audio/visual capabilities, elegant lighting, rich wood trims and 14' high door and transom window units.
